Andrew Sharland KC acted for a group of local residents in the six day Chancery Division trial considering whether school playing fields located at Stoke Bishop, Bristol should be registered as a town and village green. The claim raised novel issues of statutory incompatibility and “as of right” use. Judgement has been reserved and is expected in June.
