Harini Iyengar

Harini Iyengar has been successful in another professional disciplinary prosecution.  On Monday, a Bar Tribunal and Adjudication Service panel of five members disbarred the barrister Mr Robert Kearney for professional misconduct by way of sexual harassment.  The tribunal also ordered that Mr Kearney must not be issued with a practising certificate pending any appeal.  Since 2020, Harini has represented the Bar Standards Board in three sets of disciplinary proceedings which it brought against Mr Kearney, concerning sexual harassment of two different mini pupils and two different pupil barristers, which involved representation at several hearings before the Bar disciplinary tribunal and at two High Court appeals.

You can read more about the case on the Bar Standards Board and the Law Gazette.
