Yesterday the Bar disciplinary tribunal gave an ex tempore reasoned judgment in the case of Bar Standards Board v Navjot “Jo” Sidhu KC and found three charges of sexual misconduct towards a mini-pupil proven.  A full written judgment will follow, a sanctions hearing will be listed, and the tribunal made an interim order which prevents Mr Sidhu KC from being issued with a practising certificate in the meantime.
