Jason Coppel KC and Sean Aughey, together with David Anderson KC, have advised the People Vote’s Campaign on the legal effect of the measures announced by the Government and the EU late on 11 March 2019

Their Opinion, cited by Dominic Grieve MP, on the Today Programme this morning, considers those measures against the previous advice of the Attorney General on the Northern Ireland backstop, and against the test set by the European Research Group of Conservative MPs as the condition for their support for the EU Withdrawal Agreement.
