The 11KBW Education Group is pleased to invite you to its annual education conference in London on Thursday 1 March 2018 and Manchester on Monday 12 March 2018.  The conference will be divided into two separate sessions – schools in the morning and universities in the afternoon with a lunch for all in the middle of the day.  The subjects to be covered are listed below and there will also be ample opportunity for questions and answers.

Topics to be covered in the schools session in the morning will include:

• EHC plans – recent cases, pressing issues and new developments
• Gender segregation and discrimination
• Safeguarding
• Challenging Ofsted decisions
• Children out of school or in an illegal school

Topics to be covered in the universities session in the afternoon will include:

• Claims against universities: the Siddiqui v Oxford case
• Freedom of speech and academic freedom
• The Higher Education and Research Act 2017
• GDPR update
• Immigration law issues for universities

Delegates can attend either the morning or afternoon sessions or can book to attend both (there is discount of 10% if you book both).

Registration for the morning session will be from 9.00am with the conference starting at 10.00am.
Registration for the afternoon session will be from 1.00pm with the conference starting at 1.30pm.
Lunch will be from 12.30pm – 1.30pm.

Cost: £45 + VAT (£9.00) = £54.00 per session. If you wish to attend the full day we will give a 10% discount on the price (for both sessions cost = £97.20 including VAT and 10% discount).

How to Book?

To book your place, please email RSVP@11kbw.com stating which date you would like to attend, along with your name, firm and email address.

We will then email back with booking confirmation.

Cancellations
A refund can be made up to 14 days before the conference. A substitute delegate will be accepted any time before the conference.
Additional Requirements
If you have any additional requirements e.g. wheelchair access, large print documentation or an induction loop, or if you have any particular dietary requirements please let us know.
