The 11KBW Education Group is delighted to announce its first in-person education conference since the Covid pandemic ended. We are resuming our annual conference in London on Monday 13 November 2023. As previously, the conference will be divided into two separate sessions with schools in the morning and universities in the afternoon and a lunch for all in the middle of the day. The subjects to be covered are listed below and there will also be opportunities for questions and answers.
Topics to be covered in the schools session in the morning will include:
- Academies – forced conversions/rebrokerage and future regulation
- Ofsted inspections
- Transgender pupils
- Special educational needs update
- How to handle allegations of serious/sexual misconduct
- Discipline issues – when and how to investigate and take action
Topics to be covered in the universities session in the afternoon will include:

- Investigations and sexual misconduct
- Procurement issues
- Sharing information and data protection issues
- OfS and OIA update
