We are delighted to announce that John Bethell, Jamie Susskind and Ruth Kennedy have joined chambers. All are established practitioners with wide-ranging expertise across Chambers’ practice areas.
Jamie Susskind (2013 Call) specialises in High Court commercial-employment cases and tribunal litigation. He also has a general commercial/arbitration practice, and a developing practice in information law. Jamie has a particular interest in data governance, privacy law, and free speech and has written widely on these subjects.
John Bethell (2014 Call) has particular expertise in public law and human rights. He also has substantial experience in commercial disputes and investment treaty arbitration, and a growing information law practice. He is regularly instructed in sensitive and high-profile litigation, particularly in matters that raise national security or diplomatic and state immunity issues. He is a member of the Attorney General’s London C panel and the specialist Public International Law C panel.
Ruth Kennedy (2015 Call) specialises in commercial, employment and public law. Her cases frequently have an international focus in both private and public disputes. She is a member of the Attorney General’s London C panel and the specialist Public International Law C panel. She is currently instructed as junior counsel to the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse.
John and Jamie joined chambers on the 14th of June. Ruth joins us on the 21st of June.
