Christian is Professor of International Law at the University of Glasgow and Director of the Glasgow Centre of International Law and Security.  He also holds professorial appointments at Sorbonne Law School in Paris and Leuphana University in Lüneburg, Germany.

He is Vice-President of the European Society of International Law, and a member of the scientific advisory board of the German Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

Christian says: “I am excited to be joining 11KBW and to contribute to its further expansion in the fields of public international law and international arbitration. I particularly look forward to collaborating with highly respected colleagues based at 11KBW on cases before international courts and tribunals.”
