The 17th edition of the classic textbook Constitutional and Administrative Law has now been published by Pearson, co-authored by Professor Anthony Bradley, Professor Keith Ewing and Christopher Knight. First produced in 1932, it remains a leading work on public law: it is regularly cited in the highest courts of the common law world and used by universities and students across the country. This is the first edition since 1965 not directly written by Professor Bradley, and his chapters have been updated by Christopher Knight.
The book has been fully updated to take account of the major legislative, policy and case law developments over the last four years, of which Brexit is only the most significant and pervasive.
Christopher is an established public law practitioner, who has appeared in a number of important cases – including the Article 50 Brexit litigation – and is ranked in both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 for Administrative Law. He has published widely on constitutional and administrative law topics and is a member of the Editorial Committee of Public Law. He first joined Professors Bradley and Ewing in writing the 16th edition.
